Indoor fireworks (Category 1), garden fireworks (Category 2) and display fireworks (Category 3) can be purchased by adults over 18 years of age. It is illegal to sell fireworks to anyone under the age of eighteen and it is illegal for under 18s to possess fireworks in a public place. Professional fireworks (Category 4) are only available to firework professionals.
